Well done! I've just completed my first-ever set-up of Eldy 2.2 on Linux Mint 8 for the mother of a friend and, as you rightly say, the email app is achingly simple to use (as are the other components, what little of them I've explored).<br /><br />I don't agree with you over the Note function, though: Eldy's raison d'etre is to provide a one-stop shop for all of a basic IT user's needs, and they may well not know how else to take a note. When I saw it, I thought it was a cracking idea since it obviates the need for such users to exit (or minimise) Eldy if they've seen something they want to remember from a website, email or whatever.<br /><br />In summary: As an IT professional who spends half his spare time fixing broken apps and machines for non-technical friends, I'm going to be recommending they switch to the Mint/Eldy combo pronto, and then maybe I'll get my social life back.<br /><br />The only problem I have now is toothache from all the Werther's Originals I chewed while installing...Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08891393496695560513noreply@blogger.com
